There were several small temples placed in compound of Sri. Jhulelal Mandir. This Mandir was initiated by Saint late Shri. Baba Chhaturam at around 1947. Many Deities are placed in old Temple. There is well known as Balimbe and assumed as holy water well. There are many stories of Baba who helped and gave advice to devotees at that time. These devotees inspired and visualized this sacred place of Mandir and thought of building grand Mandir at this holy place at Pimpri, Pune, India.
Baba Chhaturmal Lal Mandir Project has been designed as per norms of Indian Temple Architecture and Hindu Vastu Shastra.
Two Structures are planned on a rectangular plot;
1. Temple and
2. Ashram building.
The Temple is located in the East side of the plot entered from the main road on the east side. Pleasant landscaping will be created in the front and around Mandir.
The temple Building is planed in three floors
1. Ground Floor : Multipurpose Hall which will be used as dinning Hall also
2. Temple Floor : Sabha Mandap (Prayer& Meditation Hall) and Garbha Griha (Deity's Sanctum).
3. Mezzanine Floor with balconies around from three sides to accommodate more devotees at time of big functions.
1. Ground Floor: There are four entrances to ground floor Hall, two from front and two from sides. Samadhi of Baba Chhaturmal is in Garbha Griha along with Jyot (Flame) at front. Sri Balimbe (Holy water well) is positioned at left side of Hall. This Multipurpose Hall floor is of about 5,000 square feet built up area. Devotees can take darshan of Balimbe holy water. This holy water is planned to circulate through pipe line and add in drinking water tank. Devotees can get blessing of this holy water while drinking this purified sacred water.
2. Temple Floor: Sabha Mandap (Prayer& Meditation Hall) and Garbha Griha (Deity's Sanctum). The temple planed in three parts, 1. Purva Dwar (East side entrance porch) 2. Sabha Mandap (Prayer Hall) and 3. Garbha Griha (Deity's Sanctum). There are three entrances to temple. Main from East, second from North and third from South direction. Lift will be provided for elderly and disable devotees. Main entry with double height entrance porch with wide marble steps and two massive columns. These two columns are designed more intricately keeping basic form like original columns in Jhulelal temple in Sindh, Pakistan. Sabha Madap Hall floor is about 5,000 square feet built up area. This open Hall will hall only four columns in side. These columns will be decorated artistically with intricate marble carving work. Marble statues of will many deities and saints will be carved over these columns. Side walls will be decorated with statues of various saints and religious signs. There will be totally nine Deities Garbha Grihas, which will be ornamented richly with best quality marble and semi precious stones. Ceiling of main Shikhar (dome) will be intricate decorated keeping original stain glass ceiling of Jhulelal temple at Sindh, Pakistan in mind. Many devotees can not visit original Jhulelal temple at Pakistan; but they should get feel of that temple here in this temple in India. Marblr flooring work is in progress. Good quality marble is bought from Makarana, Rajasthan after visiting various places by main Sewadharies along with temple architect.
Statue of main Deity Sri. Jhulelal will be placed centrally along with Sri. Kanwaramji and Sri Baba Chhaturmal in Main Garbha Griha at front of the main entrance door. The other eight deities will be placed in intricate artistic white marble carved Garbha Grihas. These Deities are 1) Shree Ganeshji, 2) Shree Ramji Pariwar, 3) Shree Radha Krishna, 4) Shree Vithoba Rukmini, 5. Sri. Durga Mata 6) Sri Hanumanji. All Deities will be facing East direction. Sri. Grantha Sahib and Sri. Shivji Parivar also will be places at left and right sides of all deities. Water from Shivlinga Jaldhari will flow towards north direction. Various statues of gods and saint will be carved over marble columns and interior walls to create religious atmosphere. Remaining main Gods like Sri Brahma, Sri. Indra, Navagriha and other Dashavtars will be carved over pink stone cladding to exterior walls. Brief description will be written over wall about all Deities placed.
3. Mezzanine floor of about 3,000 square feet built up area is additionally provided to accommodate more devotees in main functions. It has given grand look to temple with more height. Centre roof like pyramidal Shikhar is giving more height to temple building. This additional height will give proper quantity and circulation of fresh air.
The temple structure will be clad in heavy intricate artistic white marble carving work from interior and best quality pink coloured sand stone from exterior side. Statues of Navagraha and Dashavtars will be carved over exterior pink stone cladding.
Names of Navagraha as Hindu mythology are as follows:
1. Surya, 2. Soma, 3. Mangala, 4. Budha, 5. Guru, 6. Shukra, 7. Shani, 8. Rahu and 9. Ketu.
Names of Dashavtars are 1. Sri. Matsyavtar 2. Sri. Kurmavtar, 3. Sri. Varahavtar, 4. Sri. Narsinhavtar, 5. Sri. Vamanavtar, 6. Sri. Parshuramavtar, 7. Sri. Ramavtar, 8. Sri. Krishnavtar, 9. Sri. Budhavtar, 10. Sri. Kaliavtar.
Temple building will have main Shikhar (Dome) for main Deity along with eight other Shikharas (Domes). These Shikharas will be constructed in RCC and pink sand stone cladding with intricate carving will be done over those. All necessary God's statues and religious signs / attributes will be placed over all Shikharas to make Temple building most auspicious.
Two small pavilions are planned in front of the temple building. One will be used for shelter to Tulsi Vrindavan and other for Navagraha. The temple compound flooring and its pavilions will be in the midst of a pleasant landscaping of assorted plants to create a peaceful atmosphere.
The Ashram building is adjoining the temple on the west side. This building will provide A-grade accommodation to the visiting guests. This building will be constructed after completion of the Temple building. The ground floor accommodates the Reception, Office room, Caretaker's room, Pujari room, kitchen and Store room, etc. Exterior finishing of the guest house building will be white in matching with the temple building.
Mr. Vinod Chandwani, Mr. Abu Pai and Mr. Jawahar Kotwani are taking keen interest in building construction work in all respect. There is trust committee of other powerful supporters who are taking care of finance and account. There are many Sewadharies (Devotees) who give their valuable time for this sacred work. Many trustees and Sevadharies along with temple architect visited main Sri. Jhulelal temple in Pakistan specially to get darshan and inspiration for this new temple work.
The project when realized will be a biggest monument and a pilgrimage cum tourist destination of Sri. Jhulelal in India enabling a number of devotees from the world to visit this place and procure blessing of Sri. Jhulelal along with other Deities in the Temple.
